Dylan O’Brien is so special to me. Not just because he’s really attractive, sweet, hilarious, modest, and just all around perfect. But because he gives me hope.

My dream is to act, I’ve wanted it since before I can remember. But I can’t count the number of times I have felt overwhelmed before I’ve even started because of how hard I hear it is to get into that business. Then Dylan comes along. This kid who is my age who has tremendous amounts of raw talent, with no training whatsoever, and he did it all just by being on youtube. He hasn’t been acting since he was a kid, and people have only learned his name over the past couple of years, yet he’s spectacular. 

I’m sure there are tons of people out there just like me, who want to act more than anything in this world, but are overwhelmed by all the competition. Yes it’s scary, and you’ll probably fail a bunch before you succeed, but Dylan has shown us that it’s possible. He’s shown me that it’s possible. And that just puts a smile on my face. That kid means the world to me.
